GAP RADAR represents for this project a fundamental piece among the objectives we pursue: attention to students in difficulty, and at the same time to their families, in the processes of educational digitization. This application, which will be free to download for Android and IOS devices, represents a qualitative leap in the detection, care and monitoring of students in situations of digital divide or educational disconnection. It will help the educational community to be more coordinated in access to information, to offer more protocolized responses in less time and to unify the monitoring of cases thanks to the inclusion in the process of all the agents involved in socio-educational care. from each of them.
A series of indicators will be established that collect data such as access to devices and the internet, digital attendance at class sessions, delivery and quality of the work planned by teachers in each group of students, reaction to communications from educational agents such as teachers, tutors and counselors, social and family care for students, etc. With the data obtained periodically (proposed every week), each of the agents involved will receive specific information on the students at risk grouped into three codes: GREEN (normal situation), ORANGE (progress but with specific localized difficulties) and RED (need immediate intervention).
In this way, an alert sequence is created that is organized into four levels: teachers, tutors, counselors and management teams. Thus, each of these educational agents receives an alert and can start up the previously defined care protocols. Therefore, information on risk cases is clearly prevented from being dispersed or arriving late at the levels at which the necessary decisions must be made to tackle the different problems.
